Where is Ártún? - Ártún is a farm in the municipality Grýtubakkahreppur, a short 30 km drive away from Akureyri, between Laufás and the fishing village of Grenivík. From Akureyri, follow road no. 1 eastwards until it splits up into road no. 1 (Húsavík/Mývatn) to the right and road no. 83 (Grenivík) to the left - that's where you turn left! Ártún is on the left side of road no. 83 a few km. further north, watch for the sign.
